Althoughthemixedisomersof5(6)-TAMRAazideisapreferred,routinelyusedredfluorescentdyeforstainingproteins,labelingpeptidesandnucleotideswithTAMRAmixedisomersmightbetroublesomeduetosignificantsignalbroadeninginHPLCpurification.PeptidesandnucleotideslabeledwithasingleisomerTAMRAusuallygivebetterresolutioninHPLCpurificationthatisoftenrequiredintheconjugationprocesses.
